For this instalment, we filmed Betashares' CEO, Alex Vynokur, on location in Australia. Taking a documentary-style, human storytelling approach, we developed the interview to draw out the story of Betashares as a business and their partnership with Citi. From there, we shaped the narrative in the edit, structuring the CEO's words into a compelling arc that lets their voice drive the story.

I started in 2009. The one thing that I got very passionate about is an opportunity to really bring good investing to everyday Australians, and ETFs in the early days was definitely the perfect vehicle to democratize access to good investing. And we've now been on this on this journey for 15 years only feels like we're just getting started.
Like all start ups, we started with nothing and we had to earn trust. Trust is not something that you can ever take for granted. And the early days were difficult. Over time have learned a lot of lessons, and one of the biggest lessons that I have learned is that it is really crucial to continue evolving.
Technology is really changing our behaviors, is changing the way we interact with products, with services. And we have formed a view that the future of beta shares is not going to be just about providing quality products, but it's also going to be about building technology to connect us closer with our customers in order to support what we're doing, we need to work closely with firms that are willing to evolve in line with the evolution of our business.
The relationship with Citi spans across several crucial areas of our business. We are exploring areas such as tokenization of assets, ways to enable our clients to trade with shorter settlement times. We're looking to automate the investment experience for the end client like never before.
I do not know all the products and services that dealerships will be delivering to clients in a decade's time, but one thing I do know for sure is that we'll continue having the relationship with Citi, where we will be pushing each other in the direction of change and innovation.
For me, One Citi means having somebody who can bring the best of that global organization to us, to make us better and to make us work more effectively and hopefully deliver even more to our own clients.
